My name is Magdalena Grant, and I am the founder of Truly Unusual.
I spent more than ten years immersed in the fast-paced energy of London, where I built a career within the city’s financial regulatory sector after earning a Master’s degree in Economics. That chapter sharpened my skills in research, analysis, fact-checking, project management, and clear communication – tools that now shape the way I run my blog.
Driven by curiosity and a love of learning, I’ve traveled widely, connecting with experienced explorers and locals to better understand cultures, places, and perspectives around the world. While living in London, I also attended major industry events, from London Fashion Week to exclusive luxury launches, gaining firsthand insight into trends across fashion, beauty, and interiors.
Today, I’ve traded the city rush for peaceful cabin life in the countryside, where I continue creating and curating content for Truly Unusual.
